It’ll just clutter your game with teeny files that your game won’t do anything with. :) For two, even if you don’t have the required EP, I wouldn’t think that these will harm your game. (Some came with Uni, Seasons, etc.) I’m not going to go through and list what’s needed for what. The career rewards will only be available to you if you have the associated career in your game. All of the crafting stations require OFB or Freetime, for instance. (I MAY make some cloned crafting stations on new GUIDs with autonomy and visitor-use enabled so that they could be used on community lots, but I’ll need to do some testing to see if they’d actually work the way I’m envisioning first.)ĥ) Some of these objects will obviously require EPs.

Once the override is in your game, it will affect the objects you choose to download globally.

So, you won’t be able to have both an autonomous and a non-autonomous version of the same item in your game. They are NOT clones of those objects on new GUIDs. But if anyone might be interested in such a thing, let me know.)Ĥ) These are teeny-tiny override files that alter the behavior of the Maxis objects that I chose to mangle. Plus, I don’t use them in my game, anyway. (Note: I didn’t and won’t make the aspiration rewards autonomous, given that they require a certain aspiration level to be used in a non-damaging way. If you have any other buyable career rewards, such as ones that actually do clone the career rewards, they might not be autonomous.

If they are low on funds, you might want to turn the station around so that they can’t get at it.ģ) If you have Sophie-David’s buyable career rewards, this override will make “purchased” career rewards autonomous as well, since his mod doesn’t include the actual objects. The screen where you can pick the color of the object that they’re going to make still comes up, so you’ll know what they’re intending to make and you can cancel out if you want.Ģ) The crafting stations will still charge to make the objects, which you’ll need to keep an eye on if your household is low on funds. In other words, a Sim with no badges will only be able to make the basic object, while a Sim with a gold badge may choose to make objects at any level.

So, if you want these to be used more, you’d be advised not to put a TV near them, because a fun-craving Sim will tend to pick the TV over any of these objects.)ġ) When a Sim uses a crafting station autonomously, the game will randomly pick an object for them to make according to their badge level for that station. (For reference, a TV will trump them all easily. They don’t advertise strongly because I didn’t want the Sims to be obsessed with them, but I set them so that they will use them if there isn’t something more fun to do around. I generally set them to advertise on a low-moderate level for fun, with a wee bit extra for Sims with a certain characteristic that I thought made sense for the given objects…which is detailed below behind a “Read More,” if you care to know. I didn’t make the crafting stations visitor-enabled because, since they cost your household money, it might not be a good idea for your visitors to be able to merrily suck money out of your households. I also made those career rewards that I altered also usable by lot visitors, since, as I said, I like to use them on community lots. These are overrides that make some of the career rewards (The ones I use, basically) and all of the crafting stations (plus the restorable car) available for autonomous use by Sims, as none of them are set up to be, as is. This is especially so with the career rewards (which I like to use on community lots) and the crafting stations, so I assaulted them first. So, it bugs me that they will never choose to use certain items autonomously.

I generally play with my Sims on free will quite a lot. I’m pretty happy with them, so…Here’s some.

I made these before the Great Move, but wanted to be able to run them in my game to test them for a bit, to see how they worked before I shared them with anyone who might be interested.
